Moving In

Our new house, well the front porch anyway.

Well, it's official we are now in our new house. My parents moved out in late September. I wanted to get the carpets cleaned, so we camped out for a week or two until we could sleep in the Garage-ma-hall while they were being cleaned. Then on the first weekend of October, we finally moved all of our stuff into our new house. We got the bedrooms up and running on the first day, but everything else is going slowly. The kitchen is unpacked and the bathrooms. And the kids unpacked all the toys. There were a lot of toys everywhere for a while, but we have some storage systems from IKEA that are housing most of our toy collection. It still needs a little work though. Now we are working on getting the office and project room functional. And the girls are dying to paint their rooms. Hannah and Maggie are fighting over stripes or clouds. Sophie wants fairies and flowers and Caleb, who sleeps in her room, told me today he wants dinosaurs. That ought to be interesting. It's nice to have our stuff back, for the most part, and to have lots of room for putting things away. One day we may even have a guest bedroom so you can come and visit us.
